There has been a huge impact on global technology after the emergence of third and fourth generations mobiles. The differences between third generation and fourth generation technologies are as follows:
One of the key differences between the third and fourth generations is speed. The third-generation technology has a maximum speed of 21Mbps. While the fourth generation comes up with a maximum speed of 300Mbps.
The switching technique used in the third generation is a packet switching, while in the fourth-generation packet as well as message switching techniques are used.
The frequency band of the third generation is 1.8-2.5 GHz, while that of the fourth generation is 2-8 GHz.
With the increase in the generation of technologies, it becomes more and more advanced and hence better for public use. We can conclude that fourth-generation technology is far better than third-generation technologies.
